The resort design includes local building materials such as natangura leaf on the rooves, pandanus matting (weaved especially for us by village ladies on Tanna Island), carved Tam Tam posts skilfully carved by the menfolk from Ambrym Island and the golden bamboo pieces used for screening was grown just down the road.
